France Home shirt 2014 Blue

French football federation unveils new France football shirt. France will compete in Brazil this year wearing a home kit that incorporates their inherent style and style for fashion with the best performance innovation to create an elegant new look.

“This new home kit is unmistakably French. It is concise and fashionable and gives France a clear national identity at sports events,” said Martin Lotti, Creative Director for Nike Football.

The football shirt features a new crest, derived from the classic cockerel worn by the French team in 1958. The symbol is enlarged and freed from its badge, becoming the ultimate symbol of national pride.

The crest is carefully embroidered and inspired by the complicate bullion technique. The new and bigger white cockerel stands proudly with its elegant plume of feathers lifted.

The home football shirt has a stand white collar without stripes attached to it.

The shorts are classic white and feature the same fashionable and unique denim effect. This fabric is inspired by the southern French town of Nimes, the birthplace of denim and originator of the fabric’s name. Denim was created in the 17th century as a mixture of wool and silk, and football designers chose the fabric for the shorts to show the rawness of denim and the elegance of silk.

Both sides of shorts adopt selvedge-style taping, which is inspired by the advanced denim edge-finishing technique. The shorts are slimmer and more tailored to the body, with a cut specifically designed to aid movement and comfort. That will reduce resistance of air in motion. The new home socks are red, decorated with linear patterns and stripes.

Ultimate Experience of Cooling and Comfort

The kit enhances performance by changing player body temperature in the process of match. By blending a Nike Dri-FIT technology and small mesh areas with laser-cut ventilation holes, players’ body temperature will be regulated at events when needed.

This cutting-edge technology pulls sweat away from the skin to the outside of the football kits, in which it evaporates more quickly. Laser-cut ventilation holes and geometric mesh areas on football shirts improve performances of breathability and airflow.

“By managing sweat and keeping the body cooler longer, players feel more comfortable, sweat less, and perform better,” said Martin Lotti, Creative Director for Nike Football.
